Don Rito Julio Alvarez
Rito Julio Alvarez, born in Colombia, priest of the diocese of Ventimiglia-Sanremo, works in the social field; in Colombia he created the Oasis Foundation of Amor y Paz to give the exploited children in the coca plantations a chance to recover, study and grow as future peace leaders . In Italy, he created the non-profit association "Associazione Angeli di Sanremo Pace" to inform and make both young people and adults aware of the sad reality of cocaine, from production to consumption.
